He was born in a village in Düzce in 1984. He graduated from Bilkent University with a degree in Industrial Engineering and began his career in the Customer Development department at Unilever in 2006.
In his career in customer development, he successively held positions as chain customer manager, category operations manager, and traditional channel regional manager. After continuing to lead channel and category development for the Lipton brand in 2017, he continued his career as Head of Trade Marketing at Nestle in the Water Business Unit in 2018. He also served on the Water Business Unit Management Committee in this role.
In 2021, he joined Getir and managed the GetirSu vertical for 3 years. At GetirSu, he implemented the marketplace model and expanded the water ordering service to more than 50 cities with over 80 brands.
At the beginning of 2024, he took on the leadership of the Kuzeyden brand.
Hakan is married and is the father of daughters Zeynep and İnci.
