Mert Aslan was born on July 14, 1984, in Izmir. He studied at the Faculty of Maritime Business at Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir and earned an master degree (Maritime and Logistics Management). Actively engaged in the fuel especially in marine and fuel card sales, information technology, real estate, and logistics sectors since 2001, Aslan has been serving as the CEO of AS Group since 2017. In 2021, he was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Petroleum Products Employers' Union for the Aegean Region, continuing his activities in that role.
