Biography

Özgür Orçunus was born on May 30, 1974. After completing his Bachelor’s degree at Marmara University, Business Administration (in German) , he pursued a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting at the same university and department. Subsequently, he completed his second master's degree (MBA) in Business at the University of Houston in the United States.

Starting his professional career in 1996, Özgür Orçunus has held managerial positions in Marketing and Sales at various international and leading Turkish companies. He began his career at Siemens and later worked for global companies such as Philips, Sony Ericsson, Bosch, Sony, and Vestel. Since November 9, 2015, he has been serving as the Commercial Business Director at Marshall Boya and Vernik A.S., a subsidiary of AkzoNobel's decorative paint business group. In addition to his current role, he has been a Member of the Board of Directors at Marshall Boya and Vernik A.S. since 2020.

With over 20 years of experience in the business world, Özgür Orçunus is fluent both in English and German. Tennis, world cuisine, wine, and enjoyable travels with his spouse are his favorite hobbies.
